Ingredients
2 stick un-salted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 bag chocolate chips, preferably Guitard semi-sweet
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Mix together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until batter is smooth
- Mix eggs and vanilla into batter
- Put flour, salt, and baking soda into sifter
- Sift flour mixture into batter
- Add chocolate chips, and optional nuts
- For best results, place batter in a covered bowl or plastic container and refrigerate overnight
- Preheat the oven to 350º
- Place small balls on cookie sheet
- Bake for 16 minutes or until lightly browned
